The System

Fast, Focused d6s

Roll a handful of d6s. Each 5–6 is a hit. More hits = bigger results. The core is fast to teach and quick to resolve, so the story keeps moving.

Push-Your-Luck Stamina

Spend stamina to grab extra dice when it matters. But you’ll need that stamina to survive incoming threats. Every time you choose to spend stamina, you tighten the tension.

Gear That Matters

Items have four usage dots. Mark a dot to gain an edge on a roll. When they’re spent, they’re worn out, repair them in the fiction or switch tactics.

Momentum, Not Math

Pools are (4d6/6d6/8d6) that build pressure behind the scenes. See them as dynamic clocks. They start with a set number of dice, and as dice drop, danger closes in or progress is made. Until it finally hits and the story pivots hard.

Fights That Bite Back

Enemies use aspects and stamina pools. Every hit from a player’s roll forces a save from the enemy; their turns force saves that riposte.
